A few weeks ago I wrote about Rock House and how it’s one of the most stunning buildings in Edinburgh but it’s made up of several properties.
Sitting at the bottom of Calton Hill, this original foundations of Rock House and the Terrace Apartment date back to the 12th century and they were most famously occupied by Robert Adamson and David Octavius Hill between 1843-1847. I won’t bore you with the history as it can be found elsewhere but this is an outstanding property in a fantastic location and if you like history and style, this is very hard to beat in Edinburgh.
