This Sydenham Airbnb was one of my best surprises so far this year. I was booked to take photos, do a video walkthrough, and capture a Matterport tour for this (the latter for if the property is to be sold in the future).
This property went through a complete refurbishment and is split over three floors. On the raised ground floor is a stunning entrance, first floor has the reception, kitchen, bathroom, and a small but really cute study area. The second floor is three bedrooms. You never quite know as a property photographer what you’re going to be walking into, but I could tell from Google Maps this was going to be really quite nice and once I stepped inside, wow, this is a stunner.
This property took me roughly 2.5 hours to capture. The photos were relatively quick as it was a particularly nice weather day, then the Matterport tour took over an hour, and the video, which I captured in both landscape (for websites) and portrait (for social media) took roughly 20 minutes.
I don’t know this part of London that well. I’ve been to Dulwich a few times, which is fairly close by, and Crystal Palace once, but from what I can tell Sydenham has some absolutely lovely-looking properties and I hope to visit again.
