I probably only go to St Andrews maybe two or three times a year but it’s a really interesting place to visit. First of all it’s really pretty, different to say Edinburgh but very pretty. it’s also on the coast and there’s the St Andrews Links which is apparently the home of golf (I don’t play golf hence the apparently). St Andrews also has Balgove Larder which sells all kinds of awesome farm shop type foods and next door there’s the accompanying steak barn which is delicious. We also really like going to Craigtoun Country Park which is a fantastic day out for younger kids.
But most importantly for our business, St Andrews has some really stunning properties and today I photographed two. One was at West Burn Lane which we’ll show photos for soon and the other was this property at Gregory Place. The owners bought the property several years ago, completely gutted it out including the front and rear walls and made it modern and just really awesome.
This property has a nautical theme which is fitting as it sits right on the seaside and sits on three floors. The ground floor has a large bedroom, sitting area, toilet and garden area. The first floor is the living area and kitchen and the top floor has two more bedrooms and two more bathrooms. We loved the natural brick wall in the kitchen and both the space available and huge amounts of light the property lets in. Easily one of our favourite properties photographed in St Andrews.
