St Andrews Queen Street
St Andrews Queen Street. Just before the Covid-19 lockdown, I photographed the Scores Hotel in St Andrews then just after the lockdown finished I visited St Andrews twice to photograph several properties for Faye. I generally go to St Andrews several times a year to photograph properties and each time it’s a great experience. St Andrews is such an old city and it’s really small but it’s absolutely beautiful and generally it’s properties are really old but absolutely charming.
I photographed this two bedroom flat along Queen Street just a couple weeks ago. The owner lived in this flat while she was studying in St Andrews but has since moved to London and now wants to sell this flat. The rooms in this flat are all really large and each room has tonnes of light which made it really easy to photograph but would also be lovely to live in.
I really like how every property I’ve photographed in St Andrews has been completely different. I’ve photographed a hotel, a really stunning modern conversion, several old flats, a brand new property and now this flat. Another reason I love going to St Andrews is I always make an excursion to the Balgove Larder. They produce all kinds of farm shop type things but there are four things I always buy, their scotch eggs, their scotch pies, chili cheese bread and cheese and leak bread. All are amazing. There’s also an awesome steak house next door but that’s a different story.
