New Town Edinburgh Property Photography

Last week I had a particularly busy photographing AirBNB properties when I was asked to photograph five properties in one day. Three of them were located in the same block on Frederick Street in New Town, another was on Great King Street and the final one was at Simpson Loan. I photographed a property on Frederick Street just a week ago and it was lovely but completely different to the flats today. The owner Sue used to own a really popular BNB but sold up and now rents three apartments via BNB Buddy who i’m currently working with. All of her apartments were absolutely lovely with some great features and really great spaces. That they are dead central literally 2 seconds from Princes Street is really great.

Frederick Street

Frederick Street is located almost at the west end of Princes Street and is one of a few streets which connects the fairly affluent and popular George Street with Princes Street. I mentioned I photographed a property there last week which I’ll share in due course but it’s in a really great location as you’re little smack bang in the city centre. For hogmanay, the festivals etc this is a perfect location. Sue owns these three flats and she was absolutely lovely. She also has a goldendoodle dog which while huge was absolutely lovely. The below first selection of photos are a tiny collection of photos I took in the first three apartments.

Great King Street

Another really great part of town is Great King Street which is a little further away from Princes Street but still within the New Town area. I photographed another private property in an adjacent street a few weeks ago and it was completely different. I almost moved to Great King Street at one point but back in those days it was way too expensive. But, the Great King Street property was quite old fashioned but absolutely huge inside.
