London City night skyline.
Now this was a really fun shoot. I recently photographed two flats at London Dock, which you can view here, but then a couple of weeks ago I was booked in to take more photos from the same development but in a neighboring building and also at night.
So I arrived around 8.30 pm, just at the tail end of sunset, headed up to the 25th floor, and captured these shots which I’m really quite happy with.
Most of these photos were taken with a Nikon Z-series mirrorless camera and a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 F-mount lens but I really like the results.
Incidentally, when I lived in Scotland I was never really motivated to go out and take photos at night, maybe I was just never truly happy living there, but now I live in London I’m highly motivated to go out and take a lot more photos, especially like these, which I’ll start doing in the very near future.
I’m also looking at using my drones again. I flew them a lot in Scotland but haven’t touched them since moving to London, which I’m missing, so hopefully I’ll get the drone back up again and be able to share photos taken with it.
