This Lambeth Airbnb is located in Elephant & Castle and was a really interesting property to access. I normally drive across London but this time I decided to catch the tube and it’s a double-edged thing. Not having to find and pay for parking is great but overall the tube does take longer and I photographed this property on a really warm day, so the tube was absolutely roasting inside.
I decided not to drive as this property was to be accessed via a keynest which is about one mile from the property but a nightmare to pull up close by with the car, so I did public transport.
But once I got to the property it was great. Very modern both inside and out, it’s a duplex flat split across two floors. On the ground is a bedroom with en-suite and on the first floor are two more bedrooms and an open-plan reception kitchen with a really large terrace to the rear, which leads to communal gardens.
The gardens and communal gardens are lovely (lots of planted vegetables by the looks of things) and it’s gated off from the public, which really sums up this property.
It’s in Elephant & Castle which is a very busy area, is minutes away from Waterloo and London city centre but the property itself is really quiet and if you were taken to the property blind-folded, you wouldn’t know how close to the city you are, so this ticks all boxes. This Lambeth Airbnb is fantastic.
