Throughout my photography career, I have photographed thousands of properties. Many are great, some are terrible, some are really truly horrific, and then just a select few are breathtaking and this Hackney Airbnb is a stunner.
As with almost all property photography, I can almost get an idea about the property based on the location but I don’t know Hackney that well so I went to this property with an open mind and it’s incredible inside.
For a 1/2 bed, depending on how the space is used, it’s a really large flat and the centre piece is the stunning open-plan kitchen reception. The colour is spot on, the decoration looks great, and I love the industrial look of the flat. The owners have owned this flat for some 10-plus years and they completely refurbished the flat to the state it’s in now.
A great example is the side table at the end of the dining table. The legs are radiators from, if I remember, a Turkish bath and they are ornate and beautiful. The kitchen cabinets are wood recovered from a science lab.
The knives in the kitchen came from Japan, there’s a stunning copper effect bath in the en-suite. There are so many details that are fascinating and stunning.
As an Airbnb photographer London, this is easily one of the most breathtaking properties I have ever photographed.
